Prayer based on Leviticus 10

Almighty Father, what will we do in the day of grief? There is no health within us because of our sin. Our loved ones have behaved beyond the limits of propriety. Our children, who should be priests in the priesthood of all believers, have wandered into ways of unbelief. Where is our hope? We mourn with bitter tears. Help us, O God! Where else can we turn? If You will not help us, we will only bring trouble upon everything that we touch. We must do the things that You have commanded us, despite the grief of sin and misery that weighs so heavily upon us. We cannot eat, but we must commune with You. We cannot serve, but we must obey. Help us to keep on going when it feels like life is already over. Such things as these have happened to us. Have mercy on us, O Lord!
