New Ways of Thinking About the Church
Thinking and speaking about one another in the gospel
1. Beloved in the Lord
2. Fellow worker in Christ
3. Approved in Christ, Chosen in the Lord, Brothers, Saints

Romans 14:4
"Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand."
Thinking and speaking about one another in the flesh
What have you done for me lately?
...As if there were no Jesus in the church – But Jesus is in the church!

A Holy Kiss for the Church – Now and Forever

The warm greeting of the Lord for His church - the gospel embrace of the cross – the secure embrace of Jesus

Know that embrace
Think that embrace
Give that embrace

Conclusion: Because of our common union with Christ, we are to think of one another as set apart from the world, and we are to give and receive greetings with great love & a sense of common purpose as the communion of saints, now and forever.
