Morning Devotion - Proverbs 9

Read Proverbs 9

Note the following:
1. The good call of Wisdom,
2. The contrast between the true wise man who listens and learns in humility and the scoffer who is too intelligent to learn anything, and
3. The wicked and seductive call of Folly that leads to death.

Further note: John 13:1-7 - the humility and service of the Son of God

The Point: The Lord our God calls us again to Himself this morning by Jesus Christ, the most excellent, loving, and humble Wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:18-25). Be washed by Him now, and turn away from the pathway of falsely superior intelligent scoffing.
