Psalm 70

The need is right now. God help us!

What is the enemy that is right at the gates of your heart? Despair? Doubt? Distraction? Entangling Desire? Depression? The Devil and his allies? Enemy combatants? Evil adversaries trying to bring you down? Disappointing situations involving those you love? Or even Death itself?

Despite all the trials that you face today, your Lord has come. He has conquered every foe, even hell itself, for your sake. He is near you in the day of disaster. Morning will come.

I wait eagerly for the coming of the Lord!

On that day, the Lord will finally turn back the most awful oppressor. On that day, all that stands against Him and His people will be cast into the lake of fire.

Yet I have found mercy in Christ. I have found the power of God for me in the cross and resurrection of Jesus, His Son. Amazing grace!

I will be safe in Jesus, along with all who have called upon the Name of the Lord.

Therefore I will call upon His Name right now together with all who love Him. I love His salvation! The Lord God is great forever, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

But do remember me today, Lord. Some of the giants are still at the gates...

Come quickly, Lord Jesus! Deliver me from every evil.
