Proverbs 30

God has revealed Himself supremely to mankind through His Son Jesus. How could we know the Lord unless He condescended to show us who He is? How could we understand what life would be like beyond this world of death unless the Lord showed us what it meant to be a human being who had passed from mortality to immortality?
The Son of God has come down from heaven to be our Redeemer. He has given to us a knowledge of the Holy One and of the holy land of the kingdom of heaven. The Creator of all that is seen and unseen has revealed to us eternal truths that have been hidden to mankind for all ages. And now we have the mind of Christ in us, the Holy Spirit.
Shall I add my words to His? Will my imaginations be counted as equal in weight to the Word of God?
But how can I trust the Bible to be the true Word of the Lord? The Resurrection Man Jesus Christ is my confidence. I believe in His resurrection, and He believed that Scripture could not be broken. See John 10:30-35.
Jesus is trustworthy. He was not a liar or a lunatic, and He was the One who said in the presence of His detractors, “I and the Father are one.” He is faithful in His Word and reliable in His providence. He knows what to give you in life so that you might experience growth in faith and love.
The existence of evil all around us and within us is obvious to the honest observer of the human condition. But who can fix our sorrows and take away our guilt? Who can restore light to a dark world? Only the Ruler over heaven and earth, the Lord God. His solution to the woes of this world is intellectually and spiritually satisfying.
Consider the wonders of creation and the glories of heaven revealed to us in the Word. Consider the animals of the wild and learn even from them, but do not neglect the Word of the Creator. Consider Jesus, and place your hand over your mouth in awe of the One who gave Himself in His death that we might have life in His resurrection. Give up your argument with the Almighty and rest in the mercy and love of the Messiah.
